SERVICES

The spare room that became the dumping room

Every house has one. We'll turn it back into a room you're happy to open.

A sunlit corner with a paper star lamp, framed pictures and a potted plant

What it usually involves

  • Naming what the room is actually for, before we move a single box
  • Sorting what has drifted in — it usually belongs to four other rooms
  • Anything genuinely for storage moved somewhere that suits it
  • The room set up for its real job, with a plan for what lands there next

Roughly how long

Usually one full day, sometimes two if the room has been the landing spot for a house move or a clear-out that stalled.

What you're left with

A room you are happy to open when someone visits, and a clear idea of where the things in it were always meant to live.

FAQS

Questions about the spare room that became the dumping room

Not even slightly. Nearly every house has this room — it is one of the most common jobs I do. It is a room that quietly took on a job nobody gave it, and that is all.
